This doesn’t apply to Puppy though. He doesn’t know any tricks. He thinks he’s a cat. A 90lb cat.

  3. My 90lb labrador & retriever mix think they're cats too. They see the cats get to sit on the couch and in our laps, and they don't understand why they can't.

  5. My kittehs come and sit by the steps at the top of the garden when they hear the car coming into the garage. They also know when I'm not well and need more lovings.

And they know what "kitteh milk" and "noms" mean.

  7. That's what's great about cats. You have to earn their love. <3

  8. And despite the mind of their own, all my cats have always greeted me at the door!

  9. Dog people don't understand that it takes alot of time and effort to get a cat to like you. That's why i love them, dog folk are too used to having something love them instantly! and my cats always greet me at the door and love me alot!

  12. My cat has a routine. In the morning, she will want to do out the bedroom window to do her morning cat business, and then come back inside to fall asleep again.

  15. I am a cat person through to the core. I don't really understand dogs and why people love them more than cats.

  17. Oh, I forgot, but I think I remember now, you were going to make a book with these comics, yes? That'd be cool, it can have a place next to my Simon's Cat book. ;)

  20. I refuse to have a dog that does not believe it is a cat. Definitely a cat person. Our Border Collie not only thinks for himself, but tries to rub on you and get in your lap. Other then his obsession with the ball/frisbee/cat-herding, it's like having a second cat.

  21. The cats are for people who require a real friendship worked and without hypocrisy, dogs are for people who want an easy and buyed friendship. if you own a cat and if the cat loves you, then you are a great and real friend and open mind person, if you have a dog, then you are more agresive, more sociable but also like more to recive attention from your friends than give. (goog search for a cats vs dog owners sci. study)

  22. i agree. some people argue that dogs are smarter than cats because they can be trained and used as service animals etc, but seriously. i'd argue that cats can't be trained as easily (because some can indeed be trained!) because their minds are just too sharp to be bent to the will of humans. 8)

  24. Haha, my mom's Chihuahua's think they are cats. My cat is partly to blame. She makes them lay there patiently while she cleans their ears and licks them clean and they follow her around like she's their momma.

  25. cat lovers are more interesting :D i like what you posted there Knight. seeing this comic made me thing about those things.

  26. Ha! My dogs have way to much a mind of their own...We have a sharpei rottweiler mix, that thinks he is a Chihuahua, a terrier that thinks he is cock of the walk, a pug that demands a life of pampered princess life activities, and a chiweenie that is pretty sure he is a human infant. I think a cat would be easier.

  27. I think this is my favorite comic of yours. THAT'S why I'm a cat person.

  28. I love the way you represent the dogs expression... And their owners too.

  29. Goddamnit, I came to this blog to giggle at the cute cat strips, not get angry at the bigoted opinions that dogs are idiotic. All dogs have a mind of their own, regardless if they know commands or not. The difference between cats and dogs is that dogs are more often willing to PLEASE. Most cats couldn't give a damn if you want them to sit still for a moment. Neither means the other is a robot, or idiotic, jesus christ.

Goddamn do cat people have some sort of low self esteem and need to constantly assure themselves they're "better"? This is why I hate cat people -- Not cats mind you.

If it weren't for this dog hostility I would have bought a book, but now I can see it'd just reinforce the hypocritcal behaviour.
