  1. Everything about kitties is lovely. There little noses, their loves-to-be-scratched cheeks, and couldn't you just 'eat' their little feet. I'm addicted lol

  2. Oh they are so gorgeous! How did you decide on thier names? We have two cats, one is called Mia because we got her to be company for our older cat Josh, who got upset when my boyfriend (now fiance) moved in and Mia is a name that Josh can say - Mia-ow!

And re: names, Wonky Kitten has really wobbly hind legs, Shelley, hm, she looks like a Shelley, and Money, well, he's boss.

  15. I love your comic! It is so sweet to see just how much you love your kitties.
I can't have any kitties at the moment because of my landlords. But reading your comic makes me happy.
My cats are living at my parents place, far away from me, but I know that they are being loved and looked after.
I just love knowing that I'm not the only cat lady on this planet.

  27. OK. For my birthday 4/25 I got a month and half old kitten. Her name is KittyMittens. She is an addition to my 10 yr old Maine Coon, Dusty Ashes and a teenager tabby named Paige. I am having a hard time getting to work and going to bed because of the cuteness of it all. This morning around 3 am I woke with KittyMittens tiny nose in my left nostril. I am overcome by cuteness!

    1. I had to have my Amber put down last month. She had stomach cancer and was an Abyssinian. I still miss her horribly, even though I've still got a sweet little Turkish Van. I never realized a cat could capture your heart like she did.

  33. I love kitties! I love your blog! I have two kitties...well, almost three...sister kitties Godiva (calico tortie) and Daisy (orange tabby) are mine, and Kairi is a tiny little black cat who my sister couldn't keep and is now living in the spare bedroom until i can save the cash to get her fixed (because she is territorial and LOUD when she's in heat, which seems to be constantly).

Anyway, you should so make prints or t-shirts or some sort of merch, I would love a print of Cat versus Human on my wall ^_^

  50. Hi - a random (fateful?) post on Facebook brought me here - love your comics. We've always been a multiple-cat household (+ dog) and I can relate to a lot of the situations you draw. I haven't been through all your comics yet, but if you haven't already, maybe you could draw a little something about catnip - always love to see what other cats do under the influence...

I've laughed at the kitty litter smell anecdotes, but mostly because I don't have that problem anymore. Here, I'll shamelessly plug the brand I use because it's just so awesome: Feline Fresh Scoopable (no, I don't get kick-backs or commissions lol).

It instantly absorbs and clumps, stays dry, it's flushable and biodegradable, all natural, lightweight, doesn't track too much and if it does, it won't stick or smear or dry like mud on your floors or in the box (broom-friendly!), smells like freshly-cut wood, totally eliminates urine odor (really!), lasts a loooong (long!)time, litter-box washing is a breeze, under $20 for 17lbs (equals about 40lbs clay litter), and most cats accept it easily... *phew* It does everything you wish kitty litter did :) We have 2 boxes for 5 cats and NO SMELL (I kid you not)! (Also great for picking up all kinds of wet messes - just sprinkle it on, wait a few minutes and scrape it off!)

Google Feline Fresh for info and/or check your local pet store for this product - you won't be sorry! Yes, I bug everyone I know about this litter (I've given it out as gifts lol 98% conversion rate :) and here's my chance to bug even *more* cat lovers!

    Keep up the funny!

    1. I agree, Catherine! I discovered Feline Fresh a couple of years ago and I won't go back to clay litter. Ditto on everything you said, plus it's much lighter in weight to scoop. I appreciate that because I have a shoulder problem right now and I can't believe the difference in shoveling FFresh vs. clay. Woo-hoo!

And thank you, Yasmine, for your kitty silliness. It's fun to see our collective cat crazies in print. ;D

  51. I read somewhere that a cat is ticklish from the fur between its toes or from one or two of the longer guard hairs on their back. Lol I felt like if anyone were to know you would.

  56. Whenever I'm feeling sad - I know that I have my three cats and your hilarious, heart warming comics to put a big smile on my face! Honestly, I am always amazed that someone other than myself, has the same odd, adorable and humorous kitty experiences! I am cat obsessed and my husband - who, 17 years ago was "ambivalent" towards felines - is now just as kitty crazy! I can't wait to buy your book!

  57. Hey Yasmine,
Your babies are adorable!!! Me and my partner have five dogs and two cats and I wish I can adopt more :-) Your blog and pictures are fantastic :-)

  58. I love the cartoon about the cats fighting on the bed. My kitties Roosevelt and Truman do that. When I left for college my mom told me they stopped fighting, but when I come home its a different story.

  60. I love your blog! I find myself giggling to your comics because it is exactly what my two kitties do. I have a sweet little boy named Harry and a cute but slightly hostile girl named Evie :) I just love how they have their own little personalities, and how they always welcome me home (even if it is only because they want food!)

  61. Your comics are the story of my life! I have loved cats ever since I was itty bitty. I have fostered a couple litters of kittens to help our local animal shelter. Last time though, I couldn't bring myself to let one go. He was the most precious kitten I had ever seen. Orange, white, and fluffy; he had the cutest face on a kitten that I have ever seen. The shelter realized how much we loved eachother and let me have him. Now, we chase each other around the house, he wrestles with my 60lb pit bull, and gets lonely if I am gone for over two hour!

  76. Wow!!

    You have a "SammyCat"!!!

(explanation - My wife and I 'lost' a beautiful, crazy, delightful, mad, sooky, tough, powerful, lazy, wonderful ginger cat names "Sam".

We missed him terribly... then we moved.. then where we moved to, this stray ginger kitty who looked like Sam (except that Sam had a ginger moustache, this one is white-nosed) came nosing around.

Of course.. we fed him, wormed/flead him. He stays outside and we miss our dear boy just that little bit less now.

We both love your cartoons. There's nothing else to add to that bit, we love them, plain and simple.

I just came upon your blog a few min. ago, and I've already chuckled aloud about five times!

I am most definitely a cat-leaning person, but your pal, Puppy, sure does seem like one sweet hugmuffin! That NOSE!

What's up w/ his T.rex proportions, though? Optical illusion of some sort, or is there a cat splayed beneath him?

  90. I love your cartoons. I think you are spot on with interpreting cat personalities.
I only have one cat. A tabby called Marcus. He's a cat with attitude. When I got him from the SPCA he had been named Claude - didn't suit him one bit. He quickly informed me that he would like to be called Marcus Aurelius. Apart from special occasions he just get called Marcus.
